Darnell Fortney, Administrator
Darnell has been administrator at Stephenson Nursing Center since January 2008. Darnell has over 25 years’ experience in long-term care and is focused on providing a home-like setting for the residents and their families. Darnell has worked as Social Service Director, Activity Director, Marketing Director, and has been Administrator of nursing homes in Rockford and Chicago prior to coming to Stephenson Nursing Center. Darnell focuses on providing care and dignity to the residents of Stephenson Nursing Center.
Robert Geller, Medical Director
Dr. Geller is an infectious disease physician at FHN Network. Dr. Geller earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and completed his internal medicine and infectious disease residencies at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Geller oversees the overall medical practice and works as a consulting physician for the nursing center.
Christine Schnierla, Marketing & Admissions Manager
Christine has been with Stephenson Nursing Center for over 11 years. She has worked in Activities and Social Services and has been the Director of Marketing and Admissions for six years. Christine has extensive experience in assisting families with placing a loved one in the nursing center and can assist with questions regarding placement and financial options.
